“We’ve always admired Stacy’s vision and presence in the design industry,” says Traci. “When Koroseal was looking to expand and modernize our portfolio, her name immediately came to mind. We wanted to bring in fresh energy and a forward-thinking approach—and Stacy brought exactly that.”

The palette choices—like the richness of Urban Jungle or the playful twist of Fern—really elevate the design.” She also highlights recent patterns like Haven Ave and Ridgewood Raffia for their refined texture and textile-inspired aesthetic, which reflect Stacy’s background in fabric design.

Behind the Scenes of Creative Breakthroughs
While the collections speak for themselves, it’s the behind-the-scenes moments that truly reflect the spirit of the collaboration. “One that stands out for me was when Stacy flew to our Louisville manufacturing facility for a design session. We planned to concept half the collection that day, but she came in like a creative whirlwind—full of energy, mixing materials from our texture library with her own sketches. Our team was scrambling to keep up with her ideas. We skipped dinner and ordered takeout so we could keep the momentum going in the studio. By the end of the night, the full collection was done. That’s the kind of magic Stacy brings.”
Wallcovering Beyond the Wall
For Traci, wallcoverings remain an essential part of storytelling in interior spaces. “They create the mood. The combination of pattern, color, and texture sets the tone in a way few other materials can. And now more than ever, designers are asking for customization—whether it’s a different weight, sustainable backing, or a custom color developed specifically for a project. At Koroseal, we’re uniquely equipped to meet those needs because of our in-house manufacturing capabilities.”
That ability to innovate on demand is helping the brand stay ahead in a rapidly evolving market—and opening up exciting possibilities. “What really excites me,” says Traci, “is seeing wallcovering applied in new ways—on ceilings, in acoustical solutions, and even as a medium for fine art. And while many may assume that a designer of Stacy Garcia’s caliber is hands-off, the opposite is true. “Stacy is deeply involved in the process—especially when it comes to color. No matter how packed her schedule is, she’s always available to fine-tune and refine each design. That attention to detail is part of what makes the collections so successful.”
When asked about her own design must-haves at home, Traci Kloos doesn’t hesitate: “Texture is everything to me. I love the richness that comes from layering materials with different finishes and sheen levels. It brings sophistication and interest that flat surfaces just can’t replicate.”
