A Collaboration Rooted in Craftsmanship and Faith
There’s a special kind of magic that happens when craftsmanship meets creativity. We were first introduced through the hospitality industry where we worked together on various hotel projects.
From there the opportunity unfolded between Edgecombe Furniture and Stacy Garcia® Design Studio, to bring hotel quality sleeper sofas and upholstered furniture to the residential market.
After almost a year of development we are thrilled to launch The Layla Collection, our first licensed furniture collaboration together.
Named after Stacy’s daughter, Layla, the collection is personal and poised, a love letter to timeless design with a modern sensibility.
“What I love most is the transitional style with a modern twist,” says Stacy. “The bench seat and slightly curved arms are everything! They give each piece that elevated yet approachable feel we wanted from the start.”
Based in North Carolina, Edgecombe Furniture has long been known for its dedication to craftsmanship, quality, and care. Under the leadership of Bob Phillips, fourth generation owner and design vision of Jenna James, Vice President of Business Development, the company has built a reputation for integrity and authenticity, qualities that align beautifully with Stacy Garcia’s design ethos.

“Edgecombe has been wonderful to work with,” says Stacy. “They really care about how a piece feels, not just how it looks. Every line, every stitch, there’s intention behind it. You can feel the craftsmanship the moment you sit down.”
