BDNY 2024 Recap with the Stacy Garcia Design Studio
As the doors to BDNY 2024 opened, we couldn’t wait to dive into the wealth of inspiration awaiting us on the show floor. For our Studio team, this year’s show was especially meaningful as we were not only inspired by the products on display, but also proud to see several of our own NEW design collaborations take center stage!
A New Partnership with Signature: The Rendezvous Collection
One of the highlights of BDNY 2024 was our exciting new partnership with Signature, a leader in hospitality carpet design. Together, we unveiled the Rendezvous collection, a series of luxurious, high-performance carpets designed with our “Oasis” and “Tactile Luxury” trends in mind. Inspired by the desire to create environments that are both calming and indulgent, Rendezvous blends serene, nature-inspired motifs with tactile textures that invite touch and create immersive, multisensory experiences. The collection’s harmonious designs capture the essence of relaxation and sophistication, ideal for creating inviting spaces in hospitality settings.
Our collaboration with Signature is a perfect example of how thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship can come together to elevate the guest experience. Seeing the collection displayed at BDNY was a proud moment for our team. It’s always fulfilling to see a concept evolve into a tangible, beautiful product—and the Rendezvous collection truly does just that.
Valenova Tile Collection with TileBar: Inspired by Origami
Another exciting launch at BDNY 2024 was the debut of our Valenova tile collection with TileBar. This stunning collection draws inspiration from the art of origami, featuring intricate geometric folds and angles that create a dynamic visual impact. The Valenova tiles bring an element of artistry and movement to interiors, capturing the interplay of light and shadow as the folds and textures shift with perspective.
Seeing the collection displayed at the TileBar booth was a thrilling moment for our team, as it marks a major milestone in our partnerships continued growth brand. The fusion of craftsmanship and innovation within the Valenova collection speaks to our ongoing commitment to pushing design boundaries and offering our clients truly unique, creative solutions.
A Sneak Peek at Townsend Leather: Arden and Ember Leathers
We were also thrilled to visit the Townsend Leather booth, where they previewed our two upcoming leathers: Arden and Ember. In addition to showcasing our beautiful leathers, Townsend Leather also hosted an exciting giveaway at their booth. The prize? A bag created with our leather, featuring texture that reflect our product design aesthetic. We were honored to be part of the giveaway and delighted to have Stacy announce the winner live at the booth. It was a great moment of connection with the BDNY community, and we were thrilled to see how much excitement the bag generated among showgoers.
LebaTex’s New Faux Leather Collection
Another standout moment for us at BDNY was visiting the LebaTex booth, where they debuted their new Faux Leather collection. As always, LebaTex continues to impress with their ability to create high-quality, budget friendly fabrics that don’t compromise on style. The Faux Leather collection is a perfect example of this, offering a range of luxurious faux leather options that combine durability with a rich, tactile feel.
The Ongoing Evolution of Hospitality Design
