Think Big: Bright and Bold NeoCon

NeoCon 2012 and was a great showcase of optimistic colors, stripes and global influence. The Materials Pavillion was a cool display of interesting concepted materials such as the "Seven Stumps" by WilsonArt, which are stools meant to minimic the orientation of tree stumps in a forest.

Color was all over NeoCon and it was a very exciting and optimistic color palette offset by neutrals of the standard beige and grey. Standout colors were acid green, bright orange and bold blue.

Stripes were also seen throughout the show.

Forecasted by our studio as Nouveau Boho in 2010 and Wild Corners in 2012, global trend is something we have been seeing from carpet to textiles. From ombre to epingle, global influence was seen in various ways during the show. The stitching in these pillows by OFS are a great representation (and there is that bright orange again).

Also, a trend we have continually been seeing during tradeshows this year has been photorealistic imagery and NeoCon was no exception.
